Hey beauties, I know it has been a while ( as usual) but I just had to share this quick tidbit with you. I received some delightful news in my inbox this morning. It looks like coastal scents has hopped on the HD foundation train and come up with a line of their own! This company never ceases to amaze me with the the number and quality of their products. I am in love with a number of their products, and their service has so far been nothing but impeccable! Coastal Scents Under Cover High Definition Foundation has arrived after 8 months of testing. A soft focus, flawless, natural finish is needed when under the scrutiny of a camera in HD. Our foundation applies with a light weight texture, a very small amount is needed to cover your skin.

With photography, film and live television using high definition focus, (meaning that the camera and monitor sees everything magnified), HD application has become a part of training for makeup artists in today’s industry. The colors need to stay consistent in all types of lighting, what does not work well in HD is sparkle and shine. Reach for matte bronzers, blush and shadows.

HD makeup is now obtainable to everyone, you also can reap the benefits of that HD flawless look, this is not just for makeup artists. It is important that your skin is prepared prior to application in order to achieve the HD finish. Practice gentle exfoliation and polishing of the skin; use a matte primer and non greasy/oily moisturizer; use a loose mineral or pressed matte finishing powder. REVLON DOUBLETWIST MASCARA

I have a confession, I am a complete mascara JUNKIE!! I find myself holding onto the idea that someday, there will be mascara that supplies all of my needs: curl definition, brilliant separation of lashes, and last but not least clump free. I unfortunately, have not been able to find one that fits all these needs, but I decided to review one of my latest mascara fixes.

What I say: Overall rating is 3 out of 5 stars.

This mascara was pretty basic to me; it separated my lashes well and did not clump. One aspect I loved was that this mascara did not dry extremely hard. However I don’t think I would purchase it again, there was no WOW factor. check out the pics below :-)

Personally, I think this is a great deal! MAC shadows normally go for $15.00 a piece. Four shadows normally cost a little over $60.00, with these wonderful palette deals you are paying a little over $11.00 per shadow,whic is not bad.
